I didn’t like coffee when I was young. I probably got that from my parents who were no great coffee lovers themselves. They believed that coffee was an unhealthy drink that brought no benefit to anyone’s body. They passed on that belief to us and so we grew up drinking milk, or if we wanted something that was quite strong, some tea perhaps. I was okay with that kind of arrangement until I met the girl who was soon to become my wife. We were classmates in several subjects while in college and we began studying together. That was when she found out that I was non coffee drinker. Our first date was in a coffee shop to study together. I ordered a cup of tea and she laughed out loud. “Are you British or something?”she asked me. I had to explain to her why I didn’t drink coffee and she said that it was all nonsense. She explained that coffee was a very nutritious drink that brought a lot of benefits to the body. She made me a dare to drink coffee that night and there was nothing that i could do but to take that dare.

Can you guess the end of the story? Well after three years we got married and by that time I am a devoted coffee lover just like her already. Now I enjoy all types of coffee and their flavor.
