Ever wanted to be a pirate? Now you can! With movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean and computer games such as Monkey Island which serve to stir our piratey instincts and make us yearn to be pirates, more and more people would like to be pirates, not to mention that recently there have been a few news of pirates taking over vessels and demanding ransoms! Of course those are the bad examples and we would not want to be pirates just so that we can be the bad guys.
Anyways, this post is actually more about owning a pirate ship toy than to be a real pirate when you grow up. I believe that playing with pirate toys is a much better thing to do then really becoming a bad pirate. Then of course getting such toys really serve as great cheap kids toys and you can always buy them from cheap toys online stores. My son was pestering me to buy this pirate ship toy from Mattel. Not only did the package include a pirate ship, but it also came with pirates (obviously since a pirate ship would just be an ordinary ship without pirates). The package also included an octopus or maybe it should be called a kraken.
I guess it was included so that the pirates would die a piratey death (they deserved it for being bad pirates). Then the ship is very special in the sense that it can be taken apart and reassembled to form different ship types just like your average lego toy. This cheap toy is none other than the Matchbox Mega Rig Pirates Ship, one of the bestselling toys this christmas. Oh I also forgot to add that the pirate ship cheap toy comes with a working harpoon and cannons. Bombs away!
